Welcome to NearMint!
We're happy to welcome you to NearMint. Below you will find helpful information regarding the creation of a new account and how you can link your Discogs account.
Synching your NearMint account with Discogs
If you would like to open a NearMint account, you can do so by going to https://app.nearmint.io/ and clicking the Sign Up link at the bottom of the page:
Enter the name of your business, your email address, password, and the invitation code. Please note that these are not your Discogs credentials - you’re setting up a separate NearMint account that you can later sync with Discogs.
- Don’t have an invitation code? Go to https://nearmint.io/ and sign up at the bottom of the page for your personal invitation code. Your request will be processed by our team and we’ll get back to you with a code.
Once you have filled out the registration form and clicked on “Sign Up”, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Click on the blue button within that email. Once your email address has been verified, you’ll be redirected to sign in with your email address and password:
Congratulations! You are all set and can start using your new NearMint account now!
Syncing your NearMint account with Discogs
Upon first signing in to your new NearMint account, you’ll be prompted to sync with your Discogs account.
Be sure you are logged in to the Discogs account that you wish to sync. Click on the “Link my account” button:
You’ll see a confirmation of the name of the Discogs account you’ve linked. Click on next, and a pop up window will confirm this again.
Once this is done, you’ll then be prompted to set up your account settings: This includes Currency, Time & Date Format, Timezone / Region, Decimal Display (comma or period), and an optional two-factor authentication for signing in. The 2FA will send an email with a code every time you want to log in:
Click on the blue “Complete setup” at the bottom when you have finished.
- Note that NearMint will now automatically start importing your Discogs inventory. You will receive a message from Discogs that a data export is available. You do not need to do anything with this email.
